The resource layer is broken.

AI can't operate on data it can't find, read, or trust. The workflow logic is in the wrong place.

When an LLM is handling steps that follow the same logic every time (routing, formatting, validation, notification) you're paying for reasoning where none is needed. These steps belong in deterministic code: faster, cheaper, auditable, and predictable. Mixing reasoning tasks with mechanical tasks is the root cause of most reliability issues.

An AI agent asked to "handle the client outreach process end to end" will fail. An AI agent asked to "read this proposal and extract the service descriptions" will succeed. Common Concerns

We've invested in AI already and it hasn't delivered.

That's usually an architecture problem, not a technology problem. Most implementations put too much responsibility on the AI layer and not enough structure around it. An assessment would tell us whether your existing investment can be restructured or needs a different approach.

Our data isn't clean enough for AI.

It rarely is. That's why the resource layer comes first. Part of the engagement is identifying what needs to be structured, consolidated, or cleaned, and what can be worked with as-is. Perfect data isn't the prerequisite. Adequate architecture is.
